What does HalalFood.Com charge? ▾
No commission — just a flat 5% that covers credit card processing on the full amount run through the card. It applies to every card order, pickup and delivery alike. The customer's separate 5% platform fee is calculated on food only, so we never take a cut of the sales tax you remit to the state. Customers pay a separate 5% platform fee, and for delivery they pay the delivery fee. Neither comes out of your payout.
How fast can I go live? ▾
Restaurants and grocery stores are typically live within 24 hours of completing onboarding. Catering listings go live after a quick verification (usually same day). We review all listings to ensure halal certification.
How do I get paid? ▾
Restaurants and grocery stores connect a Stripe account during onboarding. Payments go directly to your bank account — HalalFood.Com never holds your money. Payouts are instant to 2 business days depending on your bank.
What cities are you in? ▾
We serve all cities across the USA and Canada.
Can I list both a restaurant and a catering business? ▾
Absolutely. Many of our partners run both a restaurant for daily orders and a catering operation for events. Complete both onboarding flows and both will appear in our platform.
